Equipment Hire

Temporary power, delivered and connected.

Lifeguard portable reticulation units and earth-screened supply leads for construction, outage and shutdown work. Hired, installed and certified by licensed electricians — not dropped at the gate.

The fleet

Lifeguard reticulation, leads and site distribution.

Purpose-built temporary power gear that interconnects, so one supply point can feed a whole site safely.

Portable reticulation unit

LIFEGUARD 17

The workhorse for medium to large sites. 63A three-phase 415V input, feeding 12 × 10/15A single-phase outlets, 3 × 32A three-phase outlets, an LG16 take-off and a 16A IEC. RCD and MCB protected throughout, IP66 rated, high-impact polyethylene body at around 20 kg.

Why hire from HPS

A hire company that can also wire it in.

The difference between hiring equipment and having temporary power that works on day one.

01

Electricians, not a hire desk

Most hire companies drop the gear at the gate. We hold the licences to survey, install, test and certify the installation, so temporary power is a delivered outcome rather than a pallet of boxes.

02

Compliant by default

Every unit is RCD and MCB protected and IP66 rated, and everything is tested and tagged before it leaves us — with the records to prove it.

03

It scales with the site

Lifeguard units interconnect, so as the job grows you extend the reticulation rather than re-engineering it.

04

One supplier for the whole job

Hire the gear, or hire the gear and the crew who install and run it. Same company, same systems, one invoice.

How it works

From survey to demob.

Short-term for a shutdown, or for the life of a construction project.

01

Survey

We walk the site and work out what you actually need — supply point, loads, distances, work fronts.

02

Design the reticulation

A layout that reaches every work front without daisy-chaining leads across access ways.

03

Deliver and install

Licensed electricians connect it, not a delivery driver. Tested and certified before you use it.

04

Support through the job

Additions, moves and fault response as the site changes shape.

05

Demobilise

We pull it out, test and tag it, and it goes back on the shelf ready for the next job.
